He holds them before him offering to us. Fast as a bird he flips them hand across hand. He stops to reveal one large feather. When water isn’t moving it is stagnant; bad for both the water & everything that depends on it. Get up & do some form of exercise today whether it is walking, biking, dancing, or even wiggling our eyes, fingers or toes, if that is what we can achieve.

Our first stop is the Grand Canyon. Are we honouring both our masculine and our feminine aspects? Coming together is the only means of achieving happiness. We must ask ourselves, have we forgotten how to put our self first? Do we need to rest our weary head, and reflect on our past sources of well-being? As owl’s face is shown in the triangle of water, it represents the owl’s ability to rise silently like a wave riding out emotions in grace. Owl asks, can we release the past so we can change & take flight? The Panther, the old soul, fearlessly walks into our life. The season of Holy Thunder begins. Grandmother speaks,… “so easily can the sun distract us, my love. The omens are much more easily seen in the dark, (yet) it is the mark of a true witch to witness synchronicities by the light of day, to see shapes in the clouds, & scry her future in sidewalk gum. Look for the signs, beloved; they are all around us.” As we walk through the day, ask the Crone to reveal herself & then watch for her sign’s and omen’s. When we limit our magic, sometimes we miss what’s right there on the sidewalk. The Bard’s Collection offers a lesson on gathering. Grandmother speaks,…“we become much more discerning as we age when it comes to our gathering, our slow collection of wisdom & skills. When we are young, we want to own all of it, to scoop up every lesson we can, and put it in our baskets. A blue light being appeared and held my hand. She said that we forget quickly in a world full of shiny baubles. I saw us transmute one by one. The afterlife is created by what we do here. Here. White Buffalo Woman, always mute when she appears, opens her warrior shield revealing her heart, the compass we will follow on the Sacred Way. The waiting area on the other side is busy, busy right now. One friend had their post-death visit with a loved one who passed with dementia & heavy earthly issues, many years later. They were surrounded by their guides. Unable to speak, the guides explained who this was, & their relationship. It lightened my heart to know they found their guides. They wouldn’t be alone anymore. Each lifetime we awaken to the memories of our past, integrating the material, ethereal, & spiritual. Leaving the material plane is “like removing an old shoe.” As natural as our first breath, is our last. The process, so bittersweet, we feel completed. Are we in the throes? Love affairs come in so many guises. I love the rain, & I want to go outside & dance when I hear it. I love the way I feel warm and cozy in my bed, listening to it fall on the tin roof. To be human is to be full of desire, & at times ruled by desire. How is this the enemy? Why is it named the burning fire? As fire is covered by smoke, as a mirror is covered by dust, or as the embryo is covered by the womb, similarly, the living being is covered by the different layers of lust. Hidden by an unquenchable fire for self-satisfaction, enemy of the wise.
